Carl Day

Carl Day has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Carl is currently the Head of Facilities & Corporate Real Estate at Extenet, where they manage building operations and maintenance for multiple facilities. Prior to this, Carl worked as a Senior Facilities Manager at One Technologies, LP, overseeing a open work desk environment and server rooms. Carl also served as a Facilities Manager at Canon Business Process Services, where they managed telecom product manufacturing facilities. Carl's experience includes being a Facilities Engineer at Semicon Precision Industries Inc, where they dealt with hazardous chemicals and coordinated training with the fire department. Carl began their career as a Technical Service Technician at Clayton Homes Inc., Denton, troubleshooting and repairing heating and air conditioning systems. Carl also worked as an Electrician/Job Supervisor at Danny Cockburn Electric Inc., where they installed electrical circuits in homes and commercial buildings.

Carl Day completed their education in the field of Facilities Planning and Management (MSFM) from Rochester Institute of Technology, where they pursued a Master of Science degree from 2012 to 2014. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science and Business Administration in Operation Management from DeVry University between 2005 and 2011.

In addition to their formal education, Carl Day has obtained various certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. Carl earned the Certified Facility Manager® (CFM®) certification from IFMA in April 2021. Carl also holds the LEED AP O+M (Operations and Maintenance) certification from USGBC, which they acquired in October 2020.
