Philip Wilfong

Philip Wilfong is an experienced executive in the self-storage and retail industries, currently serving as Division Vice President at Extra Space Storage since July 2023. Previously, Philip held the position of Regional Vice President at Life Storage from March 2008 to August 2023, overseeing a team of 19 Area Managers responsible for approximately 355 facilities across six Southern states. Philip's career began at Rite Aid as Store Manager from 1989 to 1999, followed by various roles at CVS Caremark Corporation, culminating as District Manager overseeing 21 stores in Mobile, Alabama. Philip holds a Bachelor's degree in Health and Physical Education/Fitness from the University of West Florida and completed studies at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, along with a high school diploma from Pensacola Catholic High School.
