Tyler Jacobsen

Tyler Jacobsen has over 20 years of experience in various roles within the human resources and talent acquisition fields. Tyler started their career at Edwards Lifesciences, where they worked as a Human Resources professional for six years before being promoted to Manager, Human Resources. In 2011, they joined Myriad Genetics as a Senior Manager, Talent Management, where they worked for three years. Since 2014, Tyler has been with Extra Space Storage, initially serving as Director, Talent Acquisition and later being promoted to Senior Director, Talent Acquisition, Diversity and Analytics.

Tyler Jacobsen received a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resource Management from Utah State University between 1997 and 1999. Additionally, they obtained the Professional in Human Resources (PHR®) certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI in 2003, and the SHRM-CP certification from the SHRM Certification in January 2015.
