Melinda Adams

Melinda Adams is the Senior Division Manager of Marketing & Sponsorship Development at Extraco Corporation. Melinda has over 20 years of experience in the public and private sectors, with a focus on community development and economic growth.

Adams began their career in local government, working as the Director of Community Development for the City of Bellmead, Texas. In this role, they coordinated development along Bellmead commercial corridors, developed and implemented convention and tourism goals, and managed the administration of the city's Convention and Tourism Budget.

Adams then transitioned to the private sector, taking on the role of Senior Division Manager, Marketing & Sponsorship Development at Extraco Corporation. In this role, they are responsible for developing and executing marketing and sponsorship strategies to support Extraco's business objectives. Adams has been successful in growing Extraco's sponsorship revenue by developing strong relationships with key partners and executing creative marketing campaigns.

Melinda Adams has a Bachelor's degree in Music Education from Baylor University and a certification from the Events Industry Council as a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP). Melinda is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Music Education from Blinn College.
