Mark Reece

Mark Reece has over 16 years of experience in the technology industry. Mark began their career in 2003 as the Owner of Hawkhurst Consulting Services. In 2011, they founded and became the Director of mtXtra. In 2012, they became an Associate at Sumerian. From 2013 to 2014, they were the Trading System Application Architect at the London Metal Exchange, the Head of Professional Services at MCO Europe Ltd, and the Knowledge Broker at Hub Culture Services Ltd. From 2014 to 2017, they were the Chief Technology Officer at Extraordinary Re and the Senior Enterprise Architect at Verne Global. From 2017 to 2019, they were the Chief Product Officer at VALIDSOFT - VS Labs ltd and the Trading Architect at London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG).

Mark Reece attended The Marling School, Stroud from 1975 to 1979, where they achieved A Levels in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Mark then went on to the University of Birmingham from 1979 to 1982, where they obtained a BSc (Hons) in Genetics and Biological Sciences.
