Molefi Motang

Molefi (Strauss) Motang is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in reliability and maintenance engineering across various industries. Currently serving as a Senior Reliability Engineer at Exxaro Resources since August 2021, Molefi has previously held senior engineering roles at Tronox, KZN Sands, and Pragma Global, where responsibilities included maintenance planning and asset care. Prior experience includes leading a maintenance team at Foskor's Sulphuric acid plant and conducting integrity inspections at Engen. Molefi holds a Bachelor of Science (Hon) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand, a GCC from the Department of Labour, and a Diploma of Education in Conveyor Belt Design from the Conveyor Manufacturers Association of South Africa NPC.
