Amitava Guha

Amitava Guha is an accomplished professional in marine technology and engineering, currently serving as the Technology Development Program Lead - Marine at ExxonMobil since April 2019. With expertise in exploring, developing, and deploying marine technologies, Amitava has led innovative initiatives such as drone inspections for FPSO cargo oil tanks and the implementation of various digital technologies to enhance offshore operations. Prior to this role, Amitava held positions including Deepwater Technology Developer and Metocean & Marine Engineer at ExxonMobil, and Research Engineer at the American Bureau of Shipping. Amitava holds a PhD and a Master's degree in Ocean Engineering from Texas A&M University, alongside a Bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
