Matheus Poubel

Matheus Poubel has extensive experience in the oil and gas sector, currently serving as Rigs Contracts Manager at ExxonMobil since December 2024. Prior to this role, Matheus worked at Transocean from April 2013 to December 2024, advancing through various positions including Manager of Marketing Contracts - Global, where responsibilities included managing global contract negotiations and taking over director-level duties. Previous roles at Transocean involved supporting the Marketing Department and developing a database for technical proposals. Matheus began the career in the industry as a Reservoir Engineering Intern at OGX Oil and Gas and also served as a Teacher's Assistant at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. Matheus holds a degree in Petroleum Engineering from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and is currently pursuing a Master in Direction, Management and Business Administration at Universidad de la Empresa.
