Stephen Karner

Stephen Karner is a highly experienced geoscientist with a career spanning over two decades in various roles focused on geohazards and geomechanics. Currently serving as Principal at ExxonMobil since April 2006, Stephen has held multiple positions within the company, including Operations Geologist and Geomechanicist. Previous experience includes work as an Operations Geologist at Esso Australia and ExxonMobil Exploration Company. Stephen's academic background includes a PhD in Earth Sciences from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a master's degree in Geology from Queens College, City University of New York.
