Laura Godfrey, BSN, RN, is an experienced registered nurse currently serving as a Staff Registered Nurse at Eye Associates of New Mexico since July 2021. Prior to this role, Laura worked as an Intensive Care Nurse at Presbyterian Healthcare Services and has extensive experience in critical care settings, including one year in post-anesthesia recovery and two years in the ICU. Laura's career began in the veterinary field, where work as a Veterinary Technician included providing rehabilitation care for animals and assisting in surgical procedures. Educational achievements include a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Bates College, a Bachelor’s Degree in Registered Nursing from New Mexico State University, and ongoing education in a Doctor of Nursing Practice program at The University of New Mexico, focusing on becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner.
