Ishroop Aneja

Ishroop Aneja has over 18 years of experience in the field of DevOps, application security, and software development. Ishroop is currently working as the Director of DevSecOps & Analytics at Eye Care Leaders, where they lead a team of 25 members in building scalable solutions for health and EHR systems. Ishroop is responsible for AWS cloud transformation, control tower architecture, and migration to AWS VMC. Additionally, they oversee governance, processes, cost optimization, and initiatives such as ITAM and ITSM.

Prior to this role, Ishroop worked at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Nebraska for 12 years in various positions. As the Lead DevOps & Application Security, they implemented application security tools and automated scanning processes. Ishroop also migrated DevOps from on-prem to cloud SAAS and extended the delivery pipeline to include automated code deployment for various technologies.

In their previous role as a Technical Lead, Ishroop managed Azure DevOps, SharePoint, and ticketing and asset management systems. Ishroop implemented software delivery pipelines for change control automation and audit controls. As an Azure DevOps Evangelist/Administrator, they rolled out Azure DevOps across different departments, customized process templates, and created standards for usage.

Earlier in their career, Ishroop worked at Avosys Technology, Inc. as a Senior Consultant - Software Developer, where they designed and developed case management systems using SharePoint and SQL Backend DB. Ishroop also implemented process automation as part of the Sys Mod process.

Ishroop has also worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Globallogic Inc, where they worked on projects for clients such as Aggressor LLC Inc, developing online service order processing systems.

Ishroop Aneja completed a Master of Science (MS) degree in Management Information Systems from the University of Nebraska at Omaha from 2008 to 2012. During this time, they also obtained a certificate in Project Management & System Analysis Design from the same university from 2010 to 2011. Prior to their studies in the United States, Ishroop Aneja earned an M Sc degree in Psychology from the University of Madras in India from 2004 to 2006. Ishroop started their education journey by completing a B Tech degree in Computer Engineering from Punjab Technical University in India, from 1999 to 2003. In addition to their formal education, Ishroop Aneja also obtained a certification in Level 3 Development + Services & SCAMPI ATM from the CMMI institution in July 2020.
