Doris Wong

Doris Wong has a diverse work experience that spans over several years. Doris most recently worked as a Sales Agent at Eyespace Eyewear starting in November 2019. Prior to that, they held a similar position at DESIGN EYEWEAR GROUP LIMITED from January 2018 to November 2019. Alongside their sales roles, Doris was also the Company Director at Eyes in the Square (Helensburgh) Ltd. from January 2014 to November 2019.

Before entering the eyewear industry, Doris gained experience as a Sales Agent at De Rigo from May 2010 to January 2018 and Italia Independent from December 2011 to May 2016. With a focus on business development and account management, they worked as a Sales Agent and OEM buyer at WRX EYEWORKS from April 2009 to May 2016. During their time there, Doris acquired skills in buying and conducting price negotiations with OEM frame manufacturers in China and Korea.

Doris also has experience in the field of sports coordination. Doris worked as a Local Coordinator and Hospitality Coordinator for UEFA, specifically for Rangers F.C. / Celtic F.C. from September 2003 to February 2007. Additionally, they served as a Local Coordinator for UEFA's Manchester United F.C. team from September 2002 to April 2003.

Earlier in their career, Doris held the role of Area Sales Manager at SAFILO UK LIMITED from June 2008 to April 2009. Doris'sresponsibilities included selling premium ophthalmic brands, such as Giorgio Armani, Jimmy Choo, and Smith Optical, in Scotland and Northern Ireland.

Prior to entering the eyewear industry, Doris worked as a Business Development Manager for Adidas Eyewear at Silhouette International from October 2002 to June 2008. In this role, they managed over 200 accounts in the optical and sports industries, as well as organized marketing and promotional events.

Doris Wong attended the University of the West of Scotland from 1990 to 1991, where they studied Manufacturing Systems Engineering. Following that, they pursued a degree in Mathematical Sciences from the same university, graduating in 1994.
