F-35 PSM Director Sustainment Governance And Compliance at F-35 Joint Program Office

Stuart MacDonald has extensive work experience in logistics and sustainment. Stuart started their career in 1990 as a Logistics Officer in the Royal Navy, where they later became a Commander Logistics. Stuart then worked at various positions in the UK Ministry of Defence, focusing on future capability and defence engagement. Stuart also served as the UK-US Defence Engagement representative at the United States Navy - Headquarters Fleet Forces Command. Stuart has experience in international cooperation and civilian-military coordination, having worked as the NATO HQRS Lead for Civilian-Military Cooperation - Afghanistan at NATO Headquarters Resolute Support. Most recently, Stuart joined the F-35 Joint Program Office as the PSM Director for Sustainment Governance and Compliance. Stuart has also had a Personnel Exchange Programme with the US Navy, where they served as the F-35 Logistics & Sustainment Platform Manager.

Stuart MacDonald began their education in 1991 at the HMS DAEDALUS Royal Navy School of Aircraft Engineering, where they studied Aircraft Engineering Mechanics for a year. From 1998 to 2000, they attended the Britannia Royal Naval College Dartmouth, focusing on an undisclosed field of study. In 2005, they completed a program in Maritime Operational Logistics at the Royal Navy Maritime Warfare Centre. Moving on to higher education, MacDonald pursued a Master of Science (Logistics Management) degree at the University of Lincoln from 2010 to 2014. During the same period, they also took part in the Defence Logistics Staff Course at Defence College Cranwell. In 2007, MacDonald enrolled in two separate courses; UK Defence - Joint Operational Logistics at the Defence College of Logistics, Policing and Administration, and Military Studies at the Joint Services Command and Staff College. Lastly, from 2008 to 2009, they completed the Professional Logistics Command Course at the Defence Maritime Logistics School.
