Michael A. Karlonas

Mr. Karlonas is responsible for day-to-day investment operations and systems, including portfolio accounting, performance reporting, and trading. Through ongoing coordination with our custodial partners, Mike strives to ensure a consistent, accurate, and reliable flow of data between our various teams and systems. In addition to daily operations, Mike is responsible for the oversight of special projects, system enhancements, and the implementation of the firm’s strategic objectives.

Mr. Karlonas has over 20 years of industry experience, nearly all with F.L.Putnam. After earning a B.A. in Business Administration from St. Joseph’s College, Mike began his career as a Fund Accountant with Forum Financial Group. Since joining F.L.Putnam, Mike has held a series of progressive roles, participating in the firm’s dynamic growth along the way.

A native of Western Maine, Mike now lives in Gorham with his wife and two children. A former baseball player, he takes an active role in youth sports – coaching several travel teams. Mike enjoys spending time with his family, tackling projects around the house, and following his favorite New England teams.
