Darlene Deptula-Hicks

Darlene is an accomplished executive in the life sciences sector and has over 25 years’ experience leading financial operations for both public and private companies. She brings to F-star a proven track record in finance strategy leadership, capital raising, M&A, investor relations, operational management and the ability to build strong strategic partnerships. Prior to F-star she was Chief Financial Officer at Northern Biologics Inc., a clinical-stage biotechnology company focused on discovering and developing first-in-class antibody therapeutics for oncology. Previously, Darlene held CFO positions across both private and publicly listed US companies, including Pieris Pharmaceuticals Inc., Microline Surgical Inc. and T2 Biosystems Inc. Darlene holds an MBA in Business from Rivier University and a BS in Accounting from Southern New Hampshire University. Darlene also completed the executive education program at the Dartmouth College’s Tuck School of Business and has served on a variety of public and private company boards.
