Maayan Gafni

Maayan Gafni (Ifergan) has primarily worked as a software engineer and manager. From 2017 to the present, they have held the position of Principal Software Engineer at F5. Prior to this, they worked at the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) from 2013 to 2016, where they served as a Project Manager and Team Leader. As a Project Manager, they were responsible for managing a new project and writing project requirements documents. As a Team Leader, they managed and wrote an embedded network application, leading a team of programmers and QAs. From 2010 to 2012, Maayan worked as a Team Programmer at the IDF, where they developed software using C++ and QT framework, with a focus on GIS, XML, XSD, shell scripts, networking, and algorithms.

Maayan Gafni (Ifergan) pursued their education in the field of Computer Science. Maayan completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Computer Science from The College of Management Academic Studies from 2013 to 2015. Maayan then went on to pursue a Master's Degree in Computer Science from The Open University of Israel between 2015 and 2017. Prior to their bachelor's degree, they also attended the IDF Computers Academy in 2010, where they obtained a Boger Mamram certification in Computer Science.
