Principal Software Engineer at F5 Networks

Maor Lipchuk has a strong background in software engineering, with experience in both leadership and technical roles. Maor is currently working at F5 as a Principal Software Engineer, specializing in developing highly scalable cloud-based Bot and BeWAF protection services. Maor has also played a crucial role in integrating Kubeflow and Seldon into their machine learning infrastructure.

Prior to F5, Maor worked at Red Hat for eight years, where they served as a Senior Software Engineer. In this role, they co-maintained the engine-core RHEV-M and oVirt open-source projects, focusing on virtualization management. Maor also contributed to the design and development of various infra components such as Asynchronous Task Management and Quota management. Additionally, they served as a mentor for the Google Summer Of Code in 2014.

Before joining Red Hat, Maor worked at M.IT, the IT division of the Migdal group, as a SW Developer. Maor participated in the ITP project during their tenure.

Maor's career started in the IDF (Mamram) - Leshem Unit, where they served as a Team Leader and Applicative DBA. Maor led a migration project from Websphere 5.1.2 to Websphere 6. Maor also worked as a Senior Java Engineer and Applicative DBA in the same unit, developing the advocacy platform and maintaining the Prosecution platform.

Maor began their career in the IDF (Mamram) - Mamka Unit as a SW Engineer, responsible for developing a Java information application and handling integration and deployment operations. Maor also played a role in the migration from EJB 1 to EJB 2.

Maor Lipchuk completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at Tel Aviv University from 2014 to 2017. Prior to that, they studied Industrial Engineering and Management with a focus on Computer Systems Analysis/Analyst at The Open University of Israel starting in 2013. In 2006, Maor obtained a degree in Software practical engineering from MAAT, specializing in Computer Software Engineering.
