Norman Sardella is a highly experienced Principal Software Engineer with a strong background in application delivery networking and real-time operating systems. At F5 Networks since June 2006, Norman has been a key member of the BIGIP TMOS development team, focusing on the transition from IPv4 to IPv6 and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams on RHEL support. Prior to F5, Norman contributed to Acopia Networks, a startup acquired by F5, providing file virtualization solutions. Additional experience includes designing management software for security platforms at CrossBeam, working on network-caching appliances at Infolibria, and developing high-performance systems for the special effects industry with Discreet. Early career contributions at Raytheon involved real-time air traffic control systems in a Unix environment.
