Sergey Osokin

Sergey Osokin is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in network development and software engineering. Currently serving as a Principal Consultant and Senior Consultant for NGINX at F5 since August 2019, Sergey has also contributed significantly to the FreeBSD Project as a Ports Committer since June 2003 and holds a role as a Packages Committer for NetBSD since February 2022. As a self-employed Research and Development Engineer, Sergey has focused on developing the ngx_http_redis open-source module for NGINX. Previous positions include Continuous Integration & Continuous Code Quality Inspection ITPM at Deutsche Bank Global Technology, Head of The Network Development Department at Enter, LLC and Prestige Internet LLC, and various system administration roles at EuroTrust and Unibest Bank. Sergey holds a degree in Mathematics, Programming, and Computer Science from the National University of Science and Technology "MISIS."
