Materials Scientist at FAAM

Carlos Berlanga Cruzado is a highly experienced materials scientist currently leading R&D efforts at FAAM - Energy Saving Battery, specializing in Li and Na-ion CAM technology since September 2024. Previously, Carlos held the position of Senior Cathode Scientific Researcher at ElevenEs from December 2022 to June 2024, focusing on the optimal selection and utilization of cathode materials. Prior experience includes a role as a Predoctoral Researcher and Lab Technician at CIC Energigune from December 2015 to April 2022, where Carlos conducted laboratory experiments and synthetic research related to electrochemical energy storage. An internship at Université de Montpellier 2 involved studying NaFePO4 polymorphs using Mössbauer Spectroscopy. Carlos holds a PhD in Science and Technology of Materials from Universidad del País Vasco and a Master in Science and Chemical Technology from Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia.
