Surbhi Sarkar

Surbhi Sarkar's work experience begins in 2003 at Infinity Business School, where they were the Head of Placements & Corporate Initiatives for over 13 years. During their time there, they managed various responsibilities such as stakeholder management, execution of the campus placements program, coordinating guest lectures, and designing workshops. Surbhi also played a role in the publications produced by the school.

In 2013, Surbhi started working at Startup Equity Partners Pvt. Ltd. (STEP) as an Associate Partner. Surbhi'sresponsibilities included liaising and internal reporting, as well as managing digital assets. Surbhi held this position until 2016.

During the same period, Surbhi also served as the Vice President of the Young Women's Leadership Program (YWLP) from 2013 to 2016. YWLP is an organization focused on empowering young women.

From 2014 to 2016, Surbhi worked as an Associate Partner at OnCourse Vantage, an alternate education firm. In this position, they were involved in content development, life coaching, and institutional relationship management. Surbhi also played a part in the design and publication of a book showcasing poetry and prose written by students of OnCourse.

Lastly, Surbhi worked at Fabindia Limited (formerly Fabindia Overseas Pvt. Ltd.) from 2016 to the present. Surbhi started as the National Manager of Learning & Development before taking on the role of Head of Learning and Development. Surbhi'sresponsibilities at Fabindia included designing and implementing L&D strategies, creating a virtual university for employees, partnering with vertical heads to implement training calendars, and managing projects related to safety and business recovery post-COVID-19.

Surbhi Sarkar completed their Bachelor's degree in Economics from Kirori Mal College, University of Delhi from 1997 to 2000. Surbhi then pursued a PG in Management with a specialization in Marketing from the International Management Institute - IMI from 2001 to 2003. Additionally, they obtained certifications in Leadership and Management from the University of Michigan, the Stephen M. Ross School of Business, in 2008 and 2018 respectively.
