Alex Frost

Alex Frost has a diverse range of work experience in procurement and purchasing. From 2016-present, they have been serving as the Group Head of Purchasing at Fablink Group, overseeing a £40+ million spend on direct and indirect parts and services. Prior to that, they worked at Siemens as a Project Procurement Manager from 2013-2016, where they provided commercial and supply chain support for the introduction and maintenance of the first fleet of Siemens Velaro Eurostar High Speed Trains in the UK market. Alex also worked at Caterpillar Inc. from 2007-2013, holding roles such as Category Buyer and Lead Buyer. Additionally, they spent some time as a Market Analyst at Lakeside Food Group in 2007. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated strong leadership and strategic planning skills in managing large spends and collaborating with international suppliers.

Alex Frost has a diverse educational background. They obtained a Level 5 Diploma for leaders & managers from The Institute of Leadership & Management, completing their studies between 2019 and 2022. Prior to that, Alex pursued a Graduate Diploma MCIPS at CIPS - The Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply from 2010 to 2012. Their undergraduate studies were conducted at the University of York from 2003 to 2006, where they earned a Ba Hons degree in Economics & Economic History.
