Chris B.

Chris B. has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Chris started their career as a Project Assistant at BT in 1988, providing project support functions for Technical Project Managers. Chris then worked at Abbey National as a Business Analyst and Process Improvement Consultant, where they supported ATM network support and CRM adoption in the Retail Bank before moving into an internal consultancy role providing specialist advice in process management and redesign.

Chris joined Schroders in 1998 as a Business Analyst, where they supported IT delivery for the UK Unit Trust business and implemented software changes for core business applications.

Chris then joined GAM in 2001 and worked as a Senior Business Analyst and IT Project Manager, managing the relationship between the business, internal IT teams, and third-party service providers. During their tenure, they led various projects and was also a product lead for several software products. Chris was later promoted to Senior IT Project Manager, overseeing cross-functional IT projects and programs including regulatory and strategic change.

Chris then joined FundAdminChain (FAC) in 2019 as a Technology Manager (Distributed Ledger), where they led the FAC technology team in building and testing an innovative distributed ledger-based infrastructure for the UK funds market using R3's Corda. Chris later assumed the role of Head of Sales Engineering, where they focused on building effective partnerships, ensuring successful solution delivery, and providing business context to the technology team.

Throughout their career, Chris has gained expertise in technology management, project management, business analysis, and process improvement.

Chris B. has a Bachelor of Science (BSc) (Hons) degree in Psychology from The Open University. Additionally, they have a Post Graduate Diploma in Management Studies (DMS) from Buckinghamshire College of Higher Education and a Certificate in Industrial Management from The Institution of Industrial Managers.
