Cori Mielke

Director, Outreach & Training at FACT Oregon

Cori designs develop and coordinates FACT Oregon programming and strategic outreach initiatives. She lives in the mid-Willamette Valley and has extensive expertise in the mental health field as well as in providing and delivering training. As the parent of a child with complex mental health needs, she is an experienced mentor for parents whose children experience both developmental disabilities and mental health needs. Cori serves as Vice Chair of the State Interagency Coordinating Council, which works to coordinate and enhance services and support for families in Oregon with children under the age of five. Cori is also a part of the Collective Action Team for Marion and Polk county which consists of ELH, Preschool Promise Programs, medical providers and clinics, parent educators, and the ESD. Cori also has 19.5 professional credits in the study of fetal alcohol syndrome disorder and has lived experience parenting a child with FASD. Her additional certificates include Autism 101, 2016 Trauma-Informed Summit, Suicide Prevention Training, and Collaborative Problem Solving.
