Sherrard Glaittli

Sherrard Glaittli has over 16 years of work experience in various roles related to taxonomist, data analyst, and library systems analyst. Most recently, they worked as a Sr. Taxonomist/Ontologist at Factor since February 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Taxonomist at Amazon for five years where they managed taxonomy projects across a range of product departments. Sherrard has also worked at companies such as SMITH, BlueKai, Gary Carlson Consulting, ByteManagers, Ascentium, Serials Solutions, T-Scan Corporation, and Tacoma Community House in different roles related to taxonomy, metadata, and records processing.

Sherrard Glaittli holds a User Experience Certification Program from the School of Visual Concepts, which was obtained in 2021. In 2010, Glaittli obtained a Professional Librarian's Life Certificate from the Washington Secretary of State. They earned their MLIS degree in Library and Information Sciences from the University of Washington in 2010. Prior to this, Glaittli graduated with a BA in English from the University of Puget Sound in 2002. They also briefly studied Chinese at Tunghai University in 2002 and the University of Hawaii at Manoa in 2001. In addition to these academic achievements, Glaittli holds several certifications, including a PoolParty Semantic Web Associate certification and a PoolParty Knowledge Engineering Training certification, both of which were obtained in 2020, and attest to Glaittli's knowledge and skill in this field.
