Nick Goddard

Nick Goddard has had a long and varied career in the energy sector. Nick began their professional journey in 2005 as the Head of Financial Markets Group at Pira International, where they carried out technical and commercial due diligence on potential private equity investments in Europe and the Middle East. In 2007, they took on the role of Consultant at ANGLE Technology and Director at Heliswirl Technologies Ltd. From 2011 to 2013, they were a Consultant at Thought Canal Ltd, a Board Advisor at Day One Energy Solutions, and a Consultant at Technology Greenhouse. During this same time period, they also served as the Finance Director at Spinetic Energy Limited. In 2015, they became the Director at Seren Photonics. From 2012 to 2018, they were an Advisory Board Member at Enertechnos, and from 2018 to present, they have been the UK Venture Partner at Factor[e] Ventures.

Nick Goddard obtained a PhD in Materials Engineering from Imperial College London from 1983 to 1988. Nick also obtained an MA in Natural Sciences (Physics) from the University of Cambridge at Jesus College from 1980 to 1983. Nick also holds a Chartered Engineer certification.
