Kevin Pereda

Kevin Pereda has a diverse background in data engineering and programming. Kevin most recently worked at Factored as a Data Engineer through their Advanced Accelerated Program starting in May 2023. Prior to that, they were employed by TRANZACT as a Senior Integration Specialist from December 2021 to March 2023, and as an Integration Specialist from April 2021 to November 2021. Before joining TRANZACT, they worked at Banco de Crédito BCP as a Data Engineer from January 2020 to March 2021. Kevin also has experience in teaching, as they were a Programming Fundamentals Instructor at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú from July 2019 to December 2019. Kevin gained additional experience as a Data Engineer Intern at Interbank from April 2019 to September 2019, and as a Data Analytics Summer Intern at Telefonica from January 2019 to April 2019.

Kevin Pereda attended Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú from 2013 to 2019, where they studied Informatics Engineering. After completing their studies at the university, Kevin pursued further education and is currently enrolled in a Data Engineering with AWS program at Udacity, expected to be completed by 2023.

In addition to their formal education, Kevin has obtained several certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. Kevin obtained the following certifications: AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services in September 2021, Kubernetes in Practice from Educative, Inc. in December 2021, Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate from Microsoft in January 2023, and Databricks Lakehouse Fundamentals from Databricks in June 2022.

Furthermore, Kevin has obtained various certifications in data engineering and related fields, including Hands On Essentials - Data Engineering, Hands On Essentials - Data Sharing, Hands On Essentials - Data Applications, Hands On Essentials - Data Warehouse all from Snowflake, and Improving Query Performance in PostgreSQL, PostgreSQL Summary Stats and Window Functions, Streamlined Data Ingestion with pandas, Unit Testing for Data Science in Python, and dbt Fundamentals from DataCamp. Kevin obtained these certifications between May and June 2023.
