Shixuan Hou

Shixuan Hou is an experienced engineering technician currently employed at Factorial Energy since June 2022. Prior to this role, Shixuan served as a research assistant at Columbia University in the City of New York from March 2021 to June 2022, focusing on the synthesis of nickel nanoparticle catalysts on porous carbon substrates and conducting data analysis. Shixuan also gained industrial experience at Exide Technologies, LLC, where a senior project involved analyzing and simulating the acid filling system of battery chargers. Additionally, Shixuan contributed to research on bimetallic Nano-catalysts for water electrolysis at the University of Arkansas from May 2019 to May 2020. Shixuan holds a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Arkansas.
