Diego Garcimartín Rey

Diego Garcimartín Rey has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Diego is currently the Head of Product at Factorial, where they lead a team of 50 people in Engineering, Product Management, Product Design, and Product Data. Diego is responsible for overseeing and managing 5 products offered by the company.

Prior to joining Factorial, Diego served as the VP of Product at Packlink, a leading European company in the SMB e-commerce industry. During their tenure, they played a crucial role in scaling the company's revenue by more than 5 times and achieving a positive EBITDA. Diego was also involved in fundraising and M&A processes.

Diego has entrepreneurial experience as well, having co-founded Cita Medica en Casa, a healthcare startup. Diego has also held Product Manager roles at chicfy, where they led a team focused on the growth of a second-hand apparel marketplace, and at Paradigma Digital, where they worked on product development and design for various industries.

Diego'searlier career includes positions as a Business Intelligence Analyst at jobandtalent, a Capital Markets Project Manager at Management Solutions, and a Digital Transformation role at Ceras Exprés. Diego also gained experience as a Leisure Activities Instructor and Coordinator at Red Leaf and Colegio Nuestra Señora de las Maravillas.

Diego Garcimartín Rey completed their MSc in Telecommunication Engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid between 2006 to 2012. In 2017-2018, they pursued a Master in Digital Products Design from LA NAVE NODRIZA. Additionally, they obtained a Master's degree in Business Consulting with a specialization in Finance from Universidad Pontificia Comillas from 2013 to 2015. Diego also completed their fifth grade and Master Thesis (Erasmus) at the University of Ljubljana in 2011-2012. Diego holds certifications in Entrepreneurship from the University of Pennsylvania - The Wharton School and a certification in Monitor de Tiempo Libre from Comunidad de Madrid. Diego also has a certification in Gestiόn de proyectos con metodologίas Άgiles y enfoques Lean and PSPO I - Professional Scrum Product Owner.
