Laura Lewis

Laura Lewis, PhD, is a Senior Data Scientist at Faculty since May 2022, leading data science initiatives to develop AI-powered products across diverse sectors. Previously, Laura worked at Amazon as a Data Scientist in Alexa Shopping and Prime Video, focusing on Natural Language Understanding and machine learning applications. Experience also includes roles at Citymapper and Lavanda, where Laura led data-related product strategies and analytical functions. Laura's background includes significant policy advising experience at HM Treasury, where contributions to venture capital policies enhanced support for startups. An accomplished academic, Laura holds a DPhil and MSt from the University of Oxford, and a BA from the University of Cambridge, alongside a Data Science Bootcamp certificate from Flatiron School.
