Padraig Clancy is a seasoned professional in the fields of cultural heritage and museum management, currently serving as a Board Member for the Irish Museums Association and as a Product Development Officer at FailteIreland, specializing in cultural heritage sites and museums. With a diverse background that includes founding and leading Dog Bird Projects as a consultant and previously holding various key positions, such as Director of Archaeological Excavations at Courtney Deery Heritage Consultancy and Curatorial Researcher at the National Museum of Ireland, Padraig has demonstrated expertise in project management, stakeholder engagement, and digital systems within the heritage sector. Padraig holds a Master of Arts in Landscape Archaeology from the University of Galway, a Higher Diploma in Computer Science from Dublin Business School, and a PRINCE2 certification in Project Management.
