Nishanthini Terumalai is an experienced project manager specializing in Business and Human Rights, currently managing a diverse portfolio at the Fair Labor Association since November 2021. Nishanthini also serves as a National Project Coordinator for the International Labour Organization since June 2021. Previous roles include serving as a Project Management Consultant at UNICEF and as the Social and Human Rights Project Leader at TFT - The Forest Trust, where Nishanthini led initiatives focused on child protection in agriculture and conducted field assessments on labor rights in the palm oil industry. Additional experience includes managing livelihood initiatives for Syrian refugees, coordinating youth engagement projects at UNICEF, and supporting refugee vocational training programs with UNHCR. Nishanthini holds a Master of Arts in Strategic and Defence Studies from Universiti Malaya and has completed professional courses in terrorism and counterterrorism at Georgetown University.
