Hester Janssens

Hester Janssens is currently the Stakeholder Engagement and Partnerships Manager at Fair Wear Foundation, focusing on promoting safe and dignified employment in the global garment supply chain. Additionally, Hester serves on the Multinational Standards Advisory Council for B Lab, overseeing B Corp Certification for large companies. Prior experience includes working as a Policy and Advocacy Officer at Fairtrade Nederland, emphasizing human rights and climate change, and leading renewable energy production at Vandebron. Hester's early career featured a trainee position in sustainability at municipalities in the Amsterdam metropolitan area and an internship in public affairs at Nuon. Hester holds a Master's degree in History from Leiden University, a Bachelor's degree from the University of Groningen, and a minor from the Università di Bologna, along with a foundational education in psychology.
