Eric Hacke

Eric Hacke is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in managing and architecting complex software systems. Currently serving as a Senior Staff Engineer at Faire, Eric focuses on enhancing search and recommendations infrastructure. Previously, as a VP of Engineering at General Assembly Pizza, Eric led the development of a custom e-commerce platform while managing remote teams. At Searchspring, Eric directed the migration of a legacy search engine codebase, improving performance significantly. Notably, Eric founded RoleUp, creating an identity management SaaS, and xtrct.io, specializing in ML-based data extraction. Eric has also held key engineering management positions at Hubdoc and GroupBy Inc., contributing to the development of high-performance systems and architectures across various industries. Eric holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Aerospace Engineering from Ryerson University.
