Mary Nash has diverse and extensive work experience in healthcare and leadership development. Mary currently serves as the Chief Human Resources Officer at Fairfield Medical Center, where they oversee various areas including diversity, equity and inclusion, learning and development, and the FMC police force. Prior to this, Mary held the role of Vice President, Talent Development at Beth Israel Lahey Health, where they led system transformation efforts and redesigned the talent development function. Mary also worked as a Lecturer on Medicine at Harvard Medical School. Mary has a strong background in organization development and learning, having served as Vice President at NYU Langone Health and Vidant Health. Mary has also held leadership positions at Rush University Medical Center and The Ayers Group. Mary is known for their expertise in strategic change, culture change, and leadership development, and has presented internationally and served on healthcare leadership advisory boards. Mary started their career as a Principal at The Nash Group and later worked as an Executive Coach and Consultant at Lee Hecht Harrison.

Mary Nash earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Fine Art from James Madison University in 1988. Mary then pursued a Master of Education (MEd) degree from the same university between 1990 and 1992. Continuing their education, Mary obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Psychology from Longwood University from 1997 to 1998. In 2008, they completed their highest level of education, earning a PhD in Human and Organization Development from Fielding Graduate University. Mary also holds a certification as a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) from the International Coach Federation, which they obtained in December 2007.
