Paul Speed

Paul Speed is currently the Executive Director at Fairfield-Suisun Unified School District. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Facilities at Merced County Office of Education, Maintenance and Operations Manager at Merced College, and Director at Sylvan Union School District. Paul started their career as a Construction Manager at Tracy Unified School District in 2001.

Paul has over 20 years of experience in construction management and facility operations. Paul is a skilled leader and manager, with a proven track record in overseeing construction projects and managing departments. Paul is passionate about education and has dedicated their career to ensuring that students have access to safe and well-maintained facilities.

Under Paul’s leadership, the Fairfield-Suisun Unified School District has seen significant improvements in its facilities. Paul has successfully managed multiple construction projects, including renovations and new construction. Paul has also overseen the maintenance and operations of the district’s schools, ensuring that they are well-maintained and safe for students and staff. Paul’s dedication to their work has helped the Fairfield-Suisun Unified School District provide its students with a high-quality education.

Paul Speed studied communication at Chabot College, earning an Associate of Arts degree.
