Samuel Basson has extensive experience in the corporate and education sectors. From 2019 to present, they have been the Director of Customer Solutions at FairFly, where they lead pre-sales initiatives and conducts sales enablement training. During their time there, they have pushed growth initiatives that have helped the company grow 300% in the travel industry during a global pandemic. From 2015 to 2019, they were a Corporate Trainer at Carlson Wagonlit Travel, where they lead internal transitions to new products and processes, facilitated new hire training and on-boarding, and developed reports on employee learning progress and achievement. From 2013 to 2015, they were an English Language Instructor at the Korean Department of Education, where they conducted English as a foreign language classes for children, teens, and adults, managed the English program at Cheung Ryeung Elementary School, created curriculum and learning materials for a wide range of learners, and hired and coached Native-Korean English teachers.

Samuel Basson received their Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Language Interpretation and Translation from Arizona State University between 2010 and 2013. Samuel then attended the Universidad de Salamanca in 2008 to study Spanish Language. In 2016, they obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University.
