Frank Palmer

Frank Palmer is an experienced insurance executive currently serving as Chief Underwriting Officer at Fairmatic, leading underwriting, pricing, insurance product, and actuarial teams since January 2025. Prior to this role, Frank held the position of Chief Insurance Officer and Vice President of Product and Pricing at Root Inc. from September 2020 to May 2025. Frank also contributed to the insurance industry as a Senior Expert at McKinsey & Company from January 2018 to September 2020 and served as Vice President of Product Management at Plymouth Rock Assurance, overseeing Product Management, Actuarial pricing and reserving, Predictive Modeling, and Underwriting Strategy from January 2011 to December 2017. Earlier in career, Frank was the Assistant Vice President of Quantitative Analytics at Allstate from January 2004 to January 2010, managing a large team focused on rate plan loss models and general business intelligence functions. Frank holds a Master of Science in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Bachelor's degree in Math, Economics, and Computer Science from Wittenberg University.
