Zachary Snyder

Zachary Snyder has had a diverse range of work experience. Zachary started their career at Yorkville School District as a Summer School Teacher for Mathematics in 2014. Zachary then worked as a Director of Bands and Choirs at Hartsburg Emden CUSD 21 School District from 2014 to 2015. After that, they joined Peoria Public Schools as an Orchestra Director and General Music Teacher from 2015 to 2017. Zachary also worked as a General Music Teacher at Berwyn South District 100 from 2017 to 2018, and as a General Music Teacher at Music On The Move from 2018 to 2018. Zachary then transitioned to Guitar Center, where they held various roles such as Private Instructor, Lessons Lead, and Customer Service Manager from 2018 to 2019. In 2019, they became a Sales Consultant at Lexus of Orland for a brief period. From 2019 to 2021, Zachary worked at Fairmont School District 89, serving as a Music Teacher, Middle School Mathematics Teacher, Dean of Students, and Instructional Technology Support. Currently, they hold the position of School Principal at Fairmont School District 89 starting from July 2023. Additionally, in 2021, Zachary also worked as an Instructor at Lemont Music Academy. Overall, their work experience spans across education, music, customer service, and sales.

Zachary Snyder completed a Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Music Education from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville from 2010 to 2014. Zachary then pursued further education, earning a Master of Education degree in Educational Leadership and Administration, General from American College of Education from 2020 to 2021. Zachary also obtained a Microcredential in Educational Technology and Digital Learning from American College of Education from 2020 to 2022.
