Maria Jose Pacha is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in environmental management, climate change policies, and knowledge coordination across organizations in Latin America and the Caribbean. Currently serving as the Knowledge and Networks Coordinator at the Climate and Development Knowledge Network since January 2015, Maria Jose Pacha has played a pivotal role in developing strategies for information exchange among countries. Pacha's consultancy work at Fairtrade International focuses on climate standard impact assessments and systematizing climate change projects. Previous roles include coordinating methodologies for the COP25 regional meeting, providing knowledge management expertise at SouthSouthNorth, and contributing to capacity building on gender integration in climate policies for the Chilean Ministry of Environment. Maria Jose Pacha holds a PhD in Biology and has a robust background in ecology and conservation.
