Randy Hardy has a diverse work experience spanning several decades. Randy began their career as a Payroll Accountant at Southern Minnesota Sugar Cooperative. Randy then worked as an IT Supervisor/Programmer for the City of Worthington, where they gathered requirements, analyzed current and future state processes, and designed technical solutions. Randy then joined The Schwan Food Company as a Programmer, where they gathered requirements, designed technical solutions, and developed online and batch software. Randy continued their career at various companies such as Brown & Bigelow, Coast to Coast Hardware, B. Dalton Booksellers, Musicland, and Travelers Express, with roles ranging from Sr. Analyst/Programmer to Lead System Analyst. At Target, Randy served as a Sr. Business Analyst and later as a Sr. Project Manager, responsible for leading projects, gathering requirements, and managing project timelines. Most recently, Randy worked as a Lead Business Analyst at Fairview Health Services. Throughout their career, Randy has demonstrated expertise in gathering requirements, analyzing processes, and designing technical solutions to meet business goals.

Randy Hardy's education history begins with their high school education at Granite Falls High School from 1973 to 1976. Following this, they pursued further education at Minnesota West Community and Technical College from 1976 to 1978, where they obtained a technical degree in Accounting/Governmental Accounting.

Aside from their formal education, Randy Hardy has also undergone additional certifications. In May 2002, they became a Volunteer Instructor for Firearm Safety through the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources. Moreover, they hold certifications as a Certified Instructor in multiple disciplines and as a Range Safety Officer, both obtained through the National Rifle Association.
