Impact

At FalconX, you’ll help make crypto assets a successful asset class in the most compliant way. Some of the largest financial institutions from Wall Street to Silicon Valley and around the world will turn to us for the best market prices and insights on the crypto industry. You will understand the key money laundering risks within the global digital assets industry and assist in putting key risk mitigation controls in place.  As a key member of the APAC compliance team and key contributor to the global AML program, you will learn and grow our company’s values which define our culture and drive day to day behaviors and decision making. 

Responsibilities

  • Ensure a smooth and prompt onboarding of new customers and conduct KYC refresh on existing customers against our global onboarding procedures
  • Ensure a smooth onboarding of end customers with our Exchange partners in line with Exchange requirements and our onboarding procedures
  • Complete Customer Risk Assessment and conduct screening, escalating where appropriate to the Compliance Manager
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders such as Institutional Coverage, Sales, Partnerships, Account Management on onboarding status of new customers
  • Maintain information on status of customer accounts, ready to provide comprehensive updates on status on any account you are onboarding
  • Assist in the reporting of completed KYC and other management reporting requirements
  • Provide KYC advisory to Sales on documentation requirements
  • Proactively seek and develop greater productivity and enhancements where possible through process improvements and/or  technological enhancements

Success

  • As a Compliance Analyst/Associate, you’ll be part of a global network of compliance officers and a key contributor to the success of the Firm’s AML/CFT program. 
  • To be successful in this role, you must work well under pressure and have excellent communication skills.
  • You will need to be flexible and work well with sometimes shifting priorities.
  • Be open to providing coverage when team members are on holiday or out of the office.

Required Qualifications

  • 6-12 years of experience into KYC and due diligence.
  • Exposure to global KYC process(APAC,EMEA,EU) and handling institutional clients are ideal to have
  • Experience in direct client interaction and new client onboarding is good to have
  • Team player
  • Strong communication and written communications skills
  • Good judgment and analytical skills
  • Strong follow up skills and ability articulate in a clear and concise manner
  • Genuine interest and experience in virtual/digital assets a distinct advantage
