Jacob Claussen

Environment Art Director at Fall Damage Studio AB

Jacob Claussen has a diverse work experience in the gaming industry. Jacob currently works at Fall Damage as the Environment Art Director. Prior to that, they were a Lead Environment Artist at the same company. Jacob also worked as a Teacher for Environment Art at Vertex School and as an Environment & Vegetation Artist at Ubisoft Stockholm. Jacob has also contributed to FutureGames as a Guest Teacher, assisting students with game projects and mentoring 3D students. Earlier in their career, Jacob was an Environment Artist at Starbreeze Studios, where they worked on Overkill's The Walking Dead and served as the lead for some levels. Jacob also had roles at Tarhead Studio, where they were the Lead Graphic Artist and later became the Co-founder & 3D-Artist, involved in the development of the game Blast Out.

Jacob Claussen completed their Bachelor's Degree in Media, Aesthetics and Narration with a focus on 3D-art from the University of Skövde. Jacob attended the university from 2012 to 2015. In addition, in 2013, they took a course in 3D Modeling for Games Online at Futurepoly. Prior to their university education, Jacob Claussen graduated from Almåsgymnasiet, where they completed the Trade and Administration Program from 2008 to 2011.
