Kristen Gervais

Kristen Gervais is an experienced social worker and personal support worker with a diverse background in community support and mental health services. Currently serving as a Social Worker 2 at Alberta Health Services since December 2020, Kristen has extensive experience working with individuals with a variety of needs, including those with schizophrenia and brain injuries. Kristen's previous roles include Community Support Worker at Bissell Centre and YWCA, where responsibilities involved monitoring parolees, managing diverse needs in homeless shelters, and providing temporary supportive housing for families. Additionally, Kristen has worked with Family Connections, Inc. since June 2007, providing personal support in home and group home settings. Kristen holds a Bachelor of Social Work degree from the University of Calgary, completed in 2020.
