Andrew Johannesen has a diverse work experience spanning over several organizations. Andrew currently holds the position of Vice President for Finance and Business Services at the Family Research Council. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Financial Officer at Cross Country Infrastructure Services from 2018 to 2021. Before that, they worked at Omega Protein, Inc. as the EVP & Chief Financial Officer from 2012 to 2018 and as the Senior Vice President - Finance and Treasurer in 2011. Andrew also held roles as Vice President & Treasurer at both Westlake Chemical and RRI Energy, Inc. (formerly Reliant Energy, Inc.) from 2010 to 2011 and 2004 to 2010 respectively. In addition, they worked as the Director, Corporate Development at Reliant Energy from 2000 to 2004 and in the Treasurer's Department at ExxonMobil from 1996 to 2000. Andrew started their career as a Senior Accountant at Deloitte & Touche from 1989 to 1994.

Andrew Johannesen earned a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Haverford College, where they studied from 1985 to 1989. Andrew went on to obtain a Master's in Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Analytic Finance and Business Economics from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, attending from 1994 to 1996.

In addition to their academic achievements, Andrew Johannesen also obtained certification as a Certified Public Accountant from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Board of Public Accountancy in July 1993.
