Margaret Brown

CCBHC Project Director at Family Resource Center of Northwest Ohio

Margaret Brown has extensive work experience in the social services sector. Margaret currently holds the role of CCBHC Project Director at the Family Resource Center of Northwest Ohio, Inc. where they have been serving since September 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of Suicide Prevention Project Director at the same organization from September 2020 to September 2021.

Before joining the Family Resource Center, Margaret worked at Community Human Services starting in June 2017. Margaret held the role of Intake Coordinator Level II until October 2019, after which they were promoted to Director of Housing Solutions. Margaret held this position until September 2020.

During their time at Findlay Hope House for the Homeless in 2016, Margaret worked as a Housing First Intern. Margaret conducted research on Housing First best practices and provided recommendations to the Executive Director for implementation in the transitional shelter. Margaret also revised all transitional shelter policies and created a manual for training overnight shelter monitors and weekend volunteers.

Overall, Margaret Brown has a strong background in project management, program coordination, and policy development within the social services sector.

Margaret Brown earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Rehabilitation Services from Wright State University between the years 2011 and 2015. Later, they pursued a Master of Public Affairs (MPA) degree in Nonprofit Management at Indiana University Bloomington, completing their studies from 2015 to 2017.
