Dontae Latson

Dontae Latson has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Currently, they are serving as the Chief Executive Officer at Family Tree since 2023. Prior to this, Dontae held the position of President/Chief Executive Officer at Rocky Mountain Communities from 2019 to 2023. In this role, their responsibilities included designing and implementing strategic goals and objectives for the organization. They also served as the President/CEO at YWCA McLean County from 2013 to 2019, where they provided leadership and vision in managing the organization's daily operations and programs. Dontae has also held positions such as Director, Behavioral Healthcare Services at Presbyterian Hospital, Union County Department of Social Service's Agency Director, and Director of Adult Services at Carolinas Medical Center, Randoplh. Additionally, they have experience working as an Anti-Domestic Violence Group Facilitator at the NOVA Program and as a Psychotherapist at both the Behavioral Health Center and the Adolescent and Family Growth Center.

Dontae Latson obtained a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Morgan State University, where they studied from 1994 to 1997. Dontae also pursued further education at Case Western Reserve University, School of Applied Social Sciences, earning a MSSA degree in Management & Community Development from 1997 to 1998.
