Familylife Local Expansion Coach And Trainer at FamilyLife

Karen Turcotte has extensive experience in educational roles, particularly in the context of family and community support. Currently serving as a FamilyLife Local Expansion Coach and Trainer, as well as a Field Coach and Curriculum Lead Team Member since September 2016, Karen has played a pivotal role in designing a contextualized curriculum aimed at equipping families to strengthen their spiritual foundations. Prior to this, Karen worked as a Reading Specialist at Mrs. T's Studio from August 2011 to January 2023, focusing on children with learning differences. Karen's service with Cru from September 2016 to November 2022 included roles as a FamilyLife Field Staff Missionary, preparing to guide individuals towards a vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ. Additional teaching experience includes a position at Providence Classical School as a Grade 6 Literature, Ancient History, and Bible teacher from June 2014 to July 2016, and as a Library Assistant with Klein ISD. Karen holds a Bachelor of Education in Special Education and Teaching from Butler University, earned between 1992 and 1996.
