Pascale Absil has extensive experience in the nuclear sector, serving as the Director-General of the Federal Agency for Nuclear Control since September 2012 and as a member of the Scientific Council appointed by the Minister for Homeland Affairs. Previously, Pascale held the position of Senior Project Manager at ENGIE Electrabel, leading safety and licensing projects for Belgian nuclear sites and collaborating with international experts. At ENGIE Laborelec, Pascale managed nuclear programs and held various technical roles, including Nuclear Safety Officer and Expert in Materials Technology. Earlier in the career at Electrabel, Pascale served as Senior Financial Controller and Senior Asset Manager, alongside responsibilities at the Doel 3/4 Nuclear Power Plant. Pascale's educational background includes degrees from Université libre de Bruxelles and management training at IMD.
