Connie Hoole

Connie Hoole has worked in the creative industry since 2012. Connie began their career as a Marketing Intern at The Lab Magazine, where they learned how to navigate and manage specialized online programs, network with corporate brands, research top magazine competitors, and organize and design documents for print and web use. In 2014, they became a Marketing + Design Intern at Global Mechanic and was involved in a number of long-term projects that spanned both print and web, created marketable concepts and collateral designs, and performed many office administration duties. That same year, they also worked as an Art Department Intern at TC Media, where their duties included art sourcing for upcoming issues, resizing images for various platforms, creating inDesign page layouts for the magazine’s articles, and creating illustrations.

In 2015, Connie Hoole worked as a Photography & Design Assistant at Secret Location | Concept Store and as a Sales Associate at Nordstrom. Connie also began their own business, missconniehoole, as a designer + content creator. In 2016, they worked as a Sr. Social Media Associate and Social Media Associate at Sugarfina, Inc., where they planned, managed, produced and scheduled a monthly social content calendar for Instagram, Instagram Story, Facebook and Twitter. Connie also wrote and edited brand-ready copy, community managed and maintained Sugarfina’s Instagram, Facebook & Twitter community, and contributed as a content writer and editor of Sugarfina’s blog, Something Sweet.

In 2020, Connie Hoole worked as a Social Media + Content Manager at Floravere, and in 2021 they became a Jr. Art Director & Brand Copywriter at Fancy Sprinkles.

Connie Hoole attended Collingwood School, followed by Parsons School of Design - The New School for a year in 2009-2010. Connie then completed a Bachelor of Design in Communication Design from Emily Carr University of Art and Design between 2010-2014.
